 The Morrow County Court of Common Pleas announces a job opening for a full-time COURT BAILIFF.  The COURT BAILIFF is responsible for the safety and security of all parties in the Courtroom, as well as managing juries, swearing in witnesses, arranging for prisoner transports, scheduling hearings, and all other duties and functions as requested by the Judge.  The qualified candidate should have experience and knowledge of the judicial and criminal justice systems.  The applicant must be able to complete an Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy Firearms course, Taser training, OC spray training, and defensive tactics training. JOB ANNOUNCEMENT 2

 

The Morrow County Court of Common Pleas is currently hiring a full-time PROBATION OFFICER.  The applicant should have a general understanding and ability to utilize Evidence Based Practices, must have a working knowledge of basic computer programs, have good communication skills, and possess the ability to multi-task.  The applicant must be able to initially and annually pass the following:  Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy Firearms course; Taser training course; and, a defensive tactics training course.  The educational requirement for this position is:  a Bachelor’s Degree; or, an Associate’s Degree with prior experience as a Probation Officer.  The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00/hour ($37,440 annually).  Interested applicants should forward a cover letter, resume, and a Morrow County application (available on morrowcountyohio.gov) to Greg Thomas, Court Administrator, 48 East High St, Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
