The Morrow County Court of Common Pleas announces a job opening for a full-time FISCAL COORDINATOR/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.

The FISCAL COORDINATOR/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT is responsible for overseeing the managing of funds received from various funding sources. Oversight includes, but is not limited to, encumbering funds to pay bills; requesting and submitting purchase orders; determining the appropriate funds to be used to pay bills; ensuring that all funds received by the Court are placed in the correct accounts; maintaining correspondence to and from the Morrow County Commissioners’ and Auditor’s Office regarding appropriations and transfers; assisting in the budget process; and performing any and all other duties assigned relating to the financial aspects of operating the Court of Common Pleas and its departments.  The applicant also will provide general secretarial assistance which includes, but is not limited to, general clerical and secretarial duties; managing the Judge’s calendar; preparing documents;  handling mail; making copies; making and receiving phone calls; transcribing documents dictated by the Judge; and performing other duties as assigned relating to Court operations.
